Research Review, November 2007

During November 2007, a FAWB Research Review was conducted by a panel of eminent international experts:

1. Professor Bob Pitt (the Chair of the panel), Director of Environmental Engineering Programs, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, The University of Alabama.
   
2. Dr Frans van de Ven, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, Delft University of Technology, and
   
3. Emeritus Professor Barry T Hart, Director, Water Science Pty Ltd

On 12 and 13 November, the Research Review Panel discussed the research program with the FAWB Project Leaders and Research Manager in a number of sessions. It was very intensive and highly productive work for all the FAWB team. FAWB received highly valuable feedback, including comments during those two days.

The Panel also participated in the FAWB Annual Workshop held on 14 November 2007.

The panel noted that they "are confident that the proof of concept that FAWB is looking for will be achieved".
